The Breath Behind Your Leadership 16 October 2026
Your breathing is part of how you show up. Have you ever stopped to notice it?
When you care deeply about the people you coach, lead or support, it's easy to focus on what they need while overlooking what's happening for you.
You might find yourself holding your breath while listening, feel drained after a demanding conversation, or concentrating so hard on getting things right that you lose touch with your own needs.
Our breathing, body language and presence can influence how others experience an interaction. For sensitive and perceptive people, subtle interpersonal cues may be particularly noticeable. When we're supporting others through complexity, understanding our own responses can help us become more intentional about how we show up and contribute to a sense of connection and safety.
In this interactive, science-led 90-minute workshop, you'll explore how breathing mechanics and breathing chemistry influence your experience, and why your breathing patterns may be worth paying attention to when you're coaching, leading or holding space for others.
Combining accessible science, guided self-observation and practical breathing experiments, you'll discover how to recognise your own breathing patterns, explore what influences them and identify ways to work with your breath that feel comfortable and useful to you.
Who is this for?
This workshop is for coaches, practitioners, facilitators and leaders who are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, deeply empathetic or naturally perceptive, and who care about the experience of the people they support.
You don't need any previous knowledge of breathing science or experience with breathwork, but being science-curious will help.
No pressure to get your breathing “right”. No one-size-fits-all techniques. Just science, exploration and the opportunity to discover what works for you in your leadership.
Location: You will be sent the Zoom link the day before.
16th October 2026 | 13:00-14.30
There are only 10 spots available. This is a pilot and will run as free workshop, so please do not book a place if you are not a 100% certain you are able to attend.
