Hello…
I ‘m Anette
I believe lasting change comes from understanding the mind, body, and nervous system as deeply connected. While structural differences shape how we experience stress and process information, our brains are also predictive machines designed to save energy, which means familiar patterns, (learned or innate) can sometimes lead to overwhelm or dysregulation. By updating these patterns and supporting the nervous system, we can navigate life with greater ease, honour our sensitivity and intuition, and respond more skillfully.
My philosophy
My background
My professional experience:
I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work.
With over 15 years’ experience in education, leadership development, and learning design, I’ve supported individuals, professionals and teams through change and growth in both educational and corporate settings. I’ve been a teacher, training other teachers to be inclusive of all abilities; partnered with universities on inclusive programmes for apprentices; led DEI initiatives across organisations; and designed and delivered coaching, mentoring, and leadership development programmes in corporates. Across these roles, I’ve seen firsthand how highly attuned individuals flourish when their strengths are understood and supported.
My lived experience:
I’m a highly attuned deep thinker with a late neurodivergent diagnosis and have always been highly capable, but for a long time I pushed myself too hard, burned out, and struggled to keep up because I was trying to fit the mold. I learned coping strategies that weren’t always healthy, and over time I’ve worked on my self-leadership, building sustainable habits rooted in self-care and self-love, and embracing my sensitivity as a strength. I’ve have come to trust the incredible wisdom my intuition offers. Coaching and somatic practices like breathwork, movement and creative expression transformed my life, helping me honour my needs, lower my stress, allowing me to fully be myself. I now support others to do the same.
I'm originally from South Africa and have lived in the UK for the past 25 years. I'm a keen photographer who loves capturing nature scenes. I’m well-travelled and find inspiration in the diversity of people and places I’ve encountered along the way.
I feel most grounded when I’m walking in nature, practicing yoga, wild swimming, or exploring breathwork. I also have a deep love for circus arts - there’s something so freeing about hanging upside down!
I’m deeply passionate about my own self-development and spiritual journey: exploring energy work, parts work, and shadow work to deepen my awareness and support my healing.
Animals have always had a special place in my heart, especially cats, which are my favourite companions.
