Hello…

I ‘m Anette

Our brains are predicting machines that constantly scan for patterns and safety, so change, even when sought out, can feel stressful.

Transitions are the internal recalibration that follows external change, where our nervous systems and minds are learning what’s safe, possible, and sustainable again. Our capacity to handle this can drop, not because we fail, but because our systems are doing complex work. We all need some support with this from time to time.

My approach works with your nervous system, building clarity, confidence, and self-trust so you can navigate change and transitions with more ease.

My philosophy

My background

My professional experience:

I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work.

With over 15 years’ experience in education, leadership development, and learning design, I’ve supported individuals, professionals and teams through change and growth in both educational and corporate settings. I’ve been a teacher, training other teachers to be inclusive of all abilities; partnered with universities on inclusive programmes for apprentices; led DEI initiatives across organisations; and designed and delivered coaching, mentoring, and leadership development programmes in corporates. Across these roles, I’ve seen firsthand how individuals can flourish when their strengths are understood and supported.

My lived experience:

With a late-neurodivergent-diagnosis, I’ve experienced firsthand how transitions, ambiguity, and unpredictability can feel overwhelming in fast-paced environments. Having had varied careers and lived in multiple countries, I’ve navigated constant change and learned how to adapt.

Embodied practices like breathwork and somatic work have helped me regulate my nervous system and build sustainable capacity to navigate transitions with more ease. Even with a creative, metaphor-driven, right-brain approach, navigating change can still feel challenging at times, but this perspective helps me make sense of transitions, regulate my system, and find ways forward that feel human and sustainable.

I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to help others move through transitions with clarity, confidence, and capacity.

I'm originally from South Africa and have lived in the UK for the past 25 years. I'm a keen photographer who loves capturing nature scenes. I’m well-travelled and find inspiration in the diversity of people and places I’ve encountered along the way.

I feel most grounded when I’m walking in nature, practicing yoga, wild swimming, or exploring breathwork. I also have a deep love for circus arts - there’s something so freeing about hanging upside down!

I’m deeply passionate about my own self-development and spiritual journey: exploring energy work, parts work, and shadow work to deepen my awareness and support my healing.

Animals have always had a special place in my heart, especially cats, which are my favourite companions.
